Any reason to come back to DDO?

Print Post
Hi all, Tickdoff Tank here, just wondering if there have been any good changes to DDO that might be worth me coming back to play for a bit.  I got bored with the end-game content and needed a break.

Well, that and I got really bored leveling Tickd back to 20.  If there is anything really nice (in the last, say, 4 months) please inform me.

And I look foreward to all the "Hi Welcome", "Go fuck yourself" and everything that comes with a question, so don't hold back!

Learning tomes make leveling faster. Can now transfer gold with the bank. New expansion coming out with new class(druid). New vet status for starting off at lvl 7. OMGBIZZY is no longer active. And Stainer has learned that a pimps love is very different from that of a square.

I think I have blocked that from my memory, because I don't remember that run at all.  Might be interesting if I did remember though.

Yeah I hear smurfs is coming out with an mmo go try that instead. Less grind, less end game content which that seems like what you want.

I think grace leads OMGBIZZY now.  It is at least somewhat active.

I really want to say "yes," but a more honest answer is "not quite yet."

I think things will be exciting for a while when the expansion rolls out and people start moving along those new five levels, but at the moment, there really isn't anything going on.

My favorite part is when "there's nothing going on"... then I can do whatever I want to without worrying about new stuff/new changes.

Then again, I didn't quit because of being bored.

How long have you been gone, Ticked?  There's Artificers, Cannith, some prequel stuff for the Expantion, and the expantion itself coming out later in the year.  And, as mentioned previously, new buffs to leveling make TRing less of a grind.
Me, I have altitis too badly to get bored.

Tarrant can suck my boobies.  On second thought, they are far too soft and supple for the likes of him.  Tarrant, you can GFY while having hopeless pathetic dreams of my boobies.

Go preorder Diablo 3 with a May 15 release date.  When you get bored of it in September, check back in again.  By then the servers will stop crashing from Druid shapeshifting bugs and new physics engine issues that got past Turbine's sterling QA department. U14 (slated for August but delayed to September) will deliver the features like the completely revamped prestige system that the expansion should have delivered.

I would rather shit in my own mouth than play Diablo.  And I would rather play Diablo than GW2.

But I will most likely download DDO again this wekend and see how it goes.

When you're stutter stepping though public areas or inside quests, remember: it's a feature not a bug.

Did you leave before or after the house C stuff came out? Because I personalty really like the raids in there and blown to bits.

You should really at least stay long enough to play Blown to Bits with some "friends"

Ram's thinking of coming back as well, you should log in and run with a few of us.  I don't know if you capped, but I know a few people are on TR spree's with the tomes of learning out, so you can easily get back up to cap.
