Goodbye to DDO and Thanks

Well, the time has come for me to say toodles.

I'm off to the UK in a month and I've sold the computer, so you won't see me on anymore. If I get bored in Europe (unlikely) I might log on if I get a rig, but for the moment I must say goodbye.

Thanks for the good times peeps and good luck with the next update!

Again, you show how ignorant Americans are.
Gay sex is not popular in Europe.
It is mandatory.

Wiesbaden is quite close, 120 miles. Very good train conections, but very expensive if you don´t know how to buy a cheap ticket.

Warning :
London ( and a bit of south UK ) is now a colony of Frogs.

You can thanks the Chunnel.  Grin
Well the Channel Tunnel ( and the high speed train that goes with it ).

Oh yes, as a side note... 120 miles/h ( 160 km/h ) is the low speed limit for a lot of trains in Europe...  and if you take the right train/track it can go up to 350Km/h, usually it's not worth the bother to take a plane.

I will be in Holland. I owe Chris some beer, so he is willing to come there and get it.

Don't go to Islington, it's a dive and full of Gooners (Arsenal fans).

I'm from the UK but will be spending the summer in Spain. Mornings on the beach and afternoons TRing my completionist project (well it's too damn hot to be outside in the afternoon anyway...).

Well there's that but between the time you waste reaching the airport, the security check, the nuisances, the flight delay, the check in, the flight, picking up The Luggage, commuting back to city...
When you jump in an Eurostar in Whatever train station they stop now in London and you're Gare du Nord 2 hours and half later., even at 50 Euros it's way better.... you can make the round trip in a day if you want with the train while you can't with the plane. ( oh and it probably works for London to Amsterdam too, maybe a little longer )

Well Marseille ( and the Mediteranean Sea is only 3 hours away from my home by train. [ I live near a railway station that has high speed trains stopping, near Paris ] )

But yes you can get dirt cheap flight with Ryanair, if you want to put up having to pay for the glass of water,, the cabin luggage, the other luggage, the peanuts, taking a piss in flight ( well not that one really, but they thought about it ), flying at odd hours and ending up in small airports far away from good transportation. ( some of their flights land in Beauvais, about 1h30 away from Paris, with next to no bus connection and no train connection. )
