Having monsters aggro from all the way across the dungeon and allowing them to cast through walls? Great QA work. You must have spent literally SECONDS checking how the patch would affect everything else in the game. Or not. Not exactly sure how something this monumental passes QA. Maybe you're busy with the XPAC.

Yeah, busy with whatever is no excuse for failures like these.  QA has been one giant pass the buck since malfunction took over.

Nah, I got it, but I am sure that will be their standard line.

This is gonna be awesome tonight.  I managed to get my AC high enough to not get hit on Dungeon Alert red at 10.

Could make clearing out the dungeon super easy. Just let everything come to you and nuke the shit out of it. Then causally stroll to the end of the empty quest.

I'm going to try to log in tonight just so I can be a part of this spectacular failure.  I want to be able to tell my children that I was there when Turbine QA removed walls.

On a technical note, my bet is that this is a new wall flag, something like "AllowsTargeting", in preparation for Glassteel walls in the XPAC or somesuch, and the installation defaulted it to TRUE on all the walls.  5 FRDS says I'm right.  If I lose, you can have mine just as soon as I farm them up.

Didn't see this on Lam...maybe they changed something on the way to live?

Not that I tested everything...stealthy repossession was the same as of yesterday, as were other low-level quests.

I Hope it works this way, I do I do I do I do I do I do!  55ac, 25-30 on all saves & deathward...hit taunt and crash the server!

Have to see if this works in the cove and you can get all the mobile mobs to come to the center. This could make for very fast gem runs, in anyone still needs to farm gems.

Can we target through walls? Like with tab?

This is what happens when you mess with the deep pile of spaghetti that is DDO, which I expect this physics update did.

Flagging for TOD on my TR sounds like it could be brutal. Maybe I'll skip it this life for the first time.

Did run some raids this morning post-patch and noticed no issues. eChrono was completely normal.

Or the gates weren't stopping the mummy from aggroing.

Do they really think closing one quest is going to make a difference?  That's like pissing over the deck when your yacht is sinking.

The only thing Turbine does consistently is try and cover the mistakes up of their employees.

QA needs to have new leadership, the policies rewritten (or actually followed if that is the issue), and new staff hired.

But Cyr, MajMal isn't interested in what happened before him. Everything is going to change for the better under him! That was then, this is now. He said so himself!!!

lol, yeah judging him by his time in QA is pretty damning.  It's bad news when the QA guy who let in the raid reset bugs numerous times looks like a competent head of QA compared to you.

The biggest QA fuckups Turbine has had have happened in the last 12-14 months.

Look up MajMal's join-date.

Coincidence?

This is just a patch.

I need to reup my popcorn supply for when the expansion hits.

MM just has to admit that you can only polish a turd but so much. Well, either that or admit he and his department suck donkey balls post mortem.

I get the impression that Maj does try, but QA has so much turnover in general & that I think he is working with a source code written by chimps with keyboards.
