2) They've listened to our feedback and they're trying to make it better.  I don't know whether their efforts will succeed, but they are actually trying to make it better.  They actually put aside the rush to release and they delayed something for the expansion pack in order to give it the time it deserves.  We've been bitching at them for not taking the time needed and for rushing updates out the door whether they're ready or not.  This time, they're actually giving something more time.  That's a good thing.

Dude.  Seriously.  Do you actually believe this.
Isn't this the same trap that made us all buy the x-pack?

Well it means that feather is claiming the raid is shut down for gameplay reasons, but I find that claim dubious.

It's not like we were not hearing about serious bugs in the raid on harder difficulties and serious pathing/stuck issues with Ana before the release.  Not to mention no raid loot dropping confirmed by a single player.

I am guessing this was really a combination of really horrible bugs leading to a mostly broken junk raid and horrible feedback leading to the raid getting a major rework pass adding upto a decision to just not release it until after the rework pass.

I agree 100%.  It didn't work and no one liked it so close it and spin it.

I just got that impression after you spent 13 pages calling out eladiun for being an interwebs bully when anyone who's been posting on here already knew that.  I mean, he's proud of it and hardly tries to hide that at all.

The sad part is the dogs AI when the arty was first released was awesome unless you got the trip or sunder enhancement, that made them go crazy smashing boxes.  If you avoided it however he was a beast, taunting, tanking and generally kicking ass (it helped that for a while the elemental enchantment thing stacked on him so he was doing 4d6 worth of extra damage I admit)  then they "fixed" it and he's not even worth bringing out anymore.

Bear in mind that I'm not saying that they'll succeed.  But today is the first time that they're actually trying as far as I can remember.  I applaud the effort.

Roflo, didn't Feather (or maybe someone else), when asked if they can delay the raid to fine-tune it on the Lama forums, reply 'that ship has sailed'? Cheesy

The lack of communication at Turbine is positively horrifying, in an entertaining way

Flimsy's still eating his words now, and watch the raid require at least 1/2 the optionals for completion now. Just watch.I wouldn't put it past them for more fun.

Yeah, now let's build a raid around that level of intelligent AI coding.  I swear to god I saw better AI in user written bots playing CounterStrike in the 90's.

lol, amen dude.  We need a thread dedicated to trash talking the piss poor AI DDO has.
