MMO designers need to look at GW2 to see how their current game sucks.  GW2 is far from perfect, but it sure eliminates alot of the bullshit found in other MMOs.  Love the fact there are only 10 skill slots.  Fuck DDO and WoW with their 10 scroll bars filled with spells and gear.

GW2 devs need to learn how a fucking queue works.  Nothing like queuing for WvW only to have someone else in your guild log in after you, queue and get in before you. Also, waiting 2 hours for a WvW queue to pop better get fixed sooner rather than later. 

I dont see the long-term hook for Guild Wars 2.  Getting full exotic gear in WvW only takes ~40g which is easy enough to get even if you just PVP.  Sure there's legendary stuff, but what's been leaked so far the effort is not worth the grind.  250 widgets from running dungeons? LOL.  sPVP doesn't matter apart from looks and titles. Too much emphasis on style, not enough on substance.

hah! guess ive never seen more than one guild member together at once. always assumed that was their character name

cant tell if sarcasm but biting anyways. its pretty easy actually. easier than ddo (when comparing being new to both) harder than WoW and swtor though.

if sarcasm well it doesnt tell you anywhere those are guild names and if you dont see multiple characters in the same guild and notice a different appearance you could just assume they were character names. there arent any brackets or anything. but i suppose if i had been more observant and read every name of someone i'd tabbed to i would have picked up a few that didnt fit well for an individual.

GW2 is hard.

Shadow of the Mad King goes live on the 22nd.  Looks like it will add some really cool looks to the game (screenshot of cities looked great).

It's a great game. Hope you enjoy it. You're joining right in time, this week there is a massive one time event and a content update, which the community is guessing has to do with the next elder dragon, Bubbles/Deep Sea Dragon as he was nicknamed because we are unaware of his name.

We have not found out his actual name yet. It wil be something like the other dragons most likely - Jormag, Primordus, Zhaitan, and Kralkatorrik.

And hey, at least weapons in our game aren't named after My Little Pony heroes.
