First question she answers about VIP love. In other words VIP is meaningless. I looked at the store link. Nothing special there, and as VIP we still cannot buyout adventure packs before going premium...along with the fact that VIP gets you nothing but opening elite and 500TP.

VIP can do all kinds of destiny stuff without visiting the Fatespinner. Premium players cannot. It's a fairly nice convenience perk.

I'm pretty sure if you call customer support they'll allow you to buy packs and races and stuff even if VIP.  I know it's a stupid extra step to have to take, but I know a guy who went and bought every single pack when they were 50% off and did it by calling support.
