	There may be something to this, I wound up almost 4 ranks into 16 with a +10% pot, +5% xp item, and possibly +5% ship buff (don't remember if it was active) rather than just going straight up to 16.

	about 2mil xp 8-16 on tr2 add in 40% xp bonuses from varied sources should be another 800k in theory and based on using the last stone.
