One thing for everyone who is a "skeptic" on this issue: Insurance companies are basing their underwriting on the assumption that it is real. They are refusing to write policies on homes that are likely to be in danger from rising seas 20 years from now, even though the resale rate of the homes is so high that they could keep writing policies for another 10 years and still not have to pay out on 1 policy in 5, but that would be irresponsible. Unethical, as well, but that's never stopped anyone before.

It is fairly natural to assume that the fair price for the pot is the fair value of the resources I needed to make the pot plus the fair value of my labor.

I celebrated NYE by getting into a norm CITW with Sarlona's finest drunk puggers that ran into 2 hours - started a little after 10PM my time, went past midnight.

I played Cards Against Humanity last night with friends.  It is like Apples to Apples excetp with cards written by Vaulties and other horrible people.
One of the cards was "The school trip was ruined by [blank]" and we each put forward a card chosen from our hand of awful options.  I chose "Ethnic cleansing" from my hand.  That was not the most awful card put forward.

I encourage everyone to get that game this year since it is the best party game I have yet seen for awful people like us.

A friend snapped an image of:

Charades was ruined for me forever when my mom had to act out...

... Getting hilariously gang-banged by the Blue Man Group.
