lol, and I was hoarding my precious iced weapons instead of vendor trash/deconstructing them.

Seems the time has come to sell/deconstruct them.

Seriously Mouser can't you tell the idiot that had that idea that it's a Bad Idea and that it Shouldn't Go Live, because it's going to kill all the revenues from the Ice Games ?

Still works on end game weps right? They should have spent the time on something else though, say maybe making the evenstar event worth doing. Turbine needs to hire some live event-ish type people. Its sorely lacking, this event has the polish of PVP. I;d rather them not do anything than put out this tripe.

From Lama dev tracker:
http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?&postid=4834607#post4834607

FoS:
"As both threads that you refer to were posted on the topic of a supposed change to the Icy Burst recipe, I'll reiterate: No changes have been made to Festival Frost/Icy Burst.

If you still believe that changes have been made to the Icy Burst recipe, please provide a screenshot of an item before applying the recipes, and a screenshot after, demonstrating a difference in the item's minimum level.

We've tried, and both myself and our Quality Assurance team are unable to reproduce the alleged minimum level increase caused by the Risia Icy Burst recipe."

Note to any Turbine staffers reading this, and one I genuinely hope you share around the office: DDO has become a shit game because y'all have made it a shit game. Once it was great. Now, it's a festering puddle of monkey diarrhea. No matter how you try to justify it, or pat yourselves on the back for doing great jobs... it's a shit game now because of you. Y'all keep on giving the players the middle finger, and you keep expecting us to reward you for the abuse. I've had it with you narcissistic fuckwads and your myopic policies of ineptitude.

I'm mostly curious if any of the Risia or Midwinter stuff can be applied to crafted objects. Betting it will be the same as when Eladrin was trying to explain that they bumped min levels up on crafted later on to say that they didn't work with crafted at all.

No incentive to log to Lambada to check TBH.
fucked up LVL 20 [ Pre-motu ] characters there.
No decent items, no Flag to E-Star where the events and things to test are.

If they want to keep Lambada up and running they really need to fix the transfer and make a wipe.
But it's not as if they were listening to the feedback from the Lambada people.

Well with the info that event Glaciation SP will increase the items ML up to the equivalent ML of random gen SP we now know that stripping Glaciation SP from the old Risia Festival Glaciation was purely accidental, dont we ?

Um...that's what I advocated, unless you're talking about the apostrophe...as in y'all.

and I did check lam and there was no retroactive change.

So can we take a +6 magnetism 120 of evocation+3 and add 120 glaciation to it? Never crafted one in the old risia crafting so no idea.

Yes.

Also, don't forget you can get a free glaciation 120 kit if F_O_S stole one from you, by filing a ticket when Risia starts.

Looks like risia festival glaciation only goes to 78.

The eveningstar goes to 120, but I haven't tested whether it only goes on shields like it claims (the "shield" cannith crafting recipes can go on weapons).

LOL

Looking into it, the Ice Games recipes work on weapons, and the Eveningstar Midwinter Festival recipes just work on armor, robes, outfits, and shields. This is by design- they offer upgrades to different types of items.

I said I believed that to be the case, but I was unfortunately incorrect. I apologize for the accidental misinformation.
It's not a bug. The Midwinter recipes are intended to only work on armor, outfits, robes, and shields.

What random gen shield or armor could you possibly put 120 glaciation on and have it be useful?
