	"The DDO Game servers will be brought down at 7:00 AM Eastern (-5 GMT) on Wednesday, January 9th for a restart. Thanks for your patience, and we'll see you back in the game soon!" Perhaps Turbine should add a warning, that you shouldn't do anything important the last 10 minutes before a reastart. I took level 23 at 6:48 h and was level 22 again when the servers came back up. Happy I didn't finish a raid or so.

That database, and the mail for that matter, are probably updated immediately to help quash possible duping exploits. The shared bank seems to work this way. If your character doesn't get saved or is rolled back, the shared bank transactions still happened and were saved. Too bad if you pulled something out of the bank and got rolled back, bonus if you placed something in the bank.

	I have only heard that things gone missing so far, but I duped one (shitty) item by accident. Because the odds that I had two metalline adamantine dwarfen axes of pure good with the same icon and the same amount of permanent damage on my mule are rather low.

	Turbine won't be able to use anything other than duct tape gerbils on their servers until they go to a new codebase. And we know that ain't happening.
