The claim was made, though, that the # of accounts is no longer a factor.

Here is the formula:

1) if you have active players, your guild renown goes up
2) if you don't have active players, get a new guild

Since they changed how the renown system my guild went from slowly going down by 10ish K a day ( at LVL 76 ) to earning between 30 and 80K a day ( at level 80 )... Important note : It's the biggest guild of G-Land ( go to the MyDDO, go to G-land, sort by Member Guild is the first one non we didn't spam recruit, many people from former European Guilds joined us as we were one of the last functional guild there when Europe was shut down. )

just change guild size to 10 now, as that's what decay is based on.

Our guild has less decay. We were not getting guild levels for nearly a year and now we are leveling again. (3 Levels since the change.) Hooray for mediocrity!
