	If any of you try it, let me know if it is any good. http://www.pathofexile.com/ Path of Exile is an online Action RPG set in the dark fantasy world of Wraeclast. We're a small independent team of hardcore gamers based in New Zealand and have created Path of Exile as the game that we'd want to play ourselves. It is designed around a strong barter-based online item economy, deep character customisation, competitive PvP and ladder races. The game is completely free and will never be "pay to win". Path of Exile is currently in Closed Beta and will enter Open Beta on January 23, 2013.

	I've tried it out some. First few levels have been kind of boring, but I hope that'll change once I get stronger. The skill system looks really freaking awesome, but also has a pretty steep learning curve. Loot drops for everyone, but stuff of above average value (scrolls, magic items, orbs, etc.) has a period of time where one select person gets dibs. Make sure to keep your pack as empty as possible, because the time limit is really short and you won't have time to rearrange before someone else grabs it. Or just run with people you know instead of strangers.

	After playing it a bit more (and swapping to a ranger), I've started really enjoying this game. My only complaints atm are the social mechanics of grouping with strangers (everyone is rushing to get to the fight first to get all the loot, so lots of areas get left behind) and that I've honestly not seen all that much build variance, at least as a ranger. I could easily see more variety in other classes, but for a ranger the only path that seems makes sense is jumping from +bow skills to other +bow skills.
