You want a self-healing fleshie go pally/bard/ranger/cleric/FvS . . . something with Divine magic.
The whole point of going arti on the robot is quickened-recon.

Let me know how that 217 quickened Reconstruct works out for you on your fleshy in EE content.
Well since I won't be rolling one, I can't tell you anything. Someone asked about a fleshy version, and I was supplying some info. And the person asking was asking for an arti past life (which is kinda silly since it doesn't seem they hit their stride until later in levels) not for EE content.

If you absolutely wanted to do fleshy, fuck artificer.
16 druid/2monk/2ranger
would be some trade offs of course (no longer clicky/scroll duration comes to mind). but some pros as well ie extra 100% fort in an elemental form.
whatever, you could build it if you really were dead set on not being wf.

Why 2 ranger on that? Just for the bow strength, fe and 2wf?

Yes, and really just to keep inline with what Juggy did and calling out a fleshy option.
Some different synergies, wf juggy is nice with repair not hitting undead longer clicky buffs, while fleshy druid version could have sweet speed with master blitz going and using fatal harrier.
Was just tossing it out there as a possible fleshy alternative inline with the discussion.

Yeah, 17/2/1 with fighter might be better.
That would give you both elemental froms (personally i use both on my 18/2) and gets you 2 9th level spells.

sure could do that if you wanted more casting, juggy is typically more melee mostly and ranged when many shot is up.
Dual elemental forms dont do it for me.

Flames of purity is a nice buff, 2d4 fire damage.
Then swap over to ice, so you can earthquake / ice storm and run Mantle of the Icy Soul.
I didn't go all the way through ld, just 4 ranks to get to shriadi, so I'm not sure how well I'd perform with mb.

I think if at the point where you go druid, fleshy, and using fighter levels as the 2 or 1......you aren't even discussing anything remotely related to the juggernaut build.
I mean really, at the point at which you are discussing casting for a melee/manyshot build, you are onto a different build.

I am running the pally version on Evandus to knock out an arti life I've been avoiding for awhile. It's really been a blast through lowbieland so far.
I'm thinking the gap comes into play from 20-23. Even so, there appear to be some decent options available gearwise.
This is a fun build if you dig self buffing/healing melee.

I was enjoying my arti with 3 Ranger and 1 Sorc Past then I realized my pet was useless and wouldn't even break boxes for me. On top of that Turbine breaks ranged combat every other patch so that sucks...

How many past lives do you have under your belt?
I've found wisdom specced melee druilds (17 druid/2 monk/1 wizard [or ranger for a TR only life {sprint boost}]) to actually be a lot of fun.
I may be biased due to liking clicky / button mashing combat, but Reaving roar is amazing whilst leveling and fire elemental form has some great melee / casting synergy. Also casting fom (on myself) and spamming sleetstorm made pugging worth it.

You are likely spot on. I make no illusions that my bias with druid has much more to do with earthquake/storm of vengeance being exclusive to them - which is wrong on every level possible.
I can't get completionist done without playing it, so at some point I will. Maybe I'll pick your brain a bit then.
ETA: 3 Fighter/3 Fvs/1 Wiz/1 barb/2 Monk/ 1 Rogue for past lives. I've been chugging along to completionist at a slow but steady pace.

Yeah, I get the pet thing. I hardly use it save to hit levers when soloing. Xorian for example was a breeze with a flame turret, pet, and level one hireling.
The ranged damage looked decent. Does it drop off pretty badly by mid level? I'm asking because I'm mostly using an SOS, handwraps, quarterstaff (flaming burst/icy burst/acid/weapon buff). Just played with endless fusillade a bit as I just got it at level 10. Very little though, I just hit things.

It's just annoying that classes designed around pets yet pets suck balls. It's made worse that in beta the pet AI worked great then they went and fucked with it and now it's shit.
Th DPS does trail off but early on it's God mode. I was also using a 2[W] repeater from my first 8 or so levels before they fixed that.

I haven't done any druid lives - no completionists and the PL feats are meh - but they look about melee FVS easy to level or even easier based on grouping with them.
Jugg heroic ranging is not worth it past mid level except when fullisading or manyshotting for burst damage.

Some of my guildies are still going with theirs. It looks like the Battle Mech bonuses got tilted further away from ranged, but heavier towards melee options, but I haven't checked how AP intensive it is to get similar bonuses as pre-U19.
Were there any interesting synergies which have been removed with u19 and the EP?
That's not opinion, that's science. And science is one cold hearted bitch with a 14 inch strap on.

Juggernaut lacks avoidance and mitigation options unless you're centered. If you're going to use Sireth to remain centered, there are much better builds than 16 Artificer/2 Monk/2 Ranger.
