-Destiny is NOT an MMO. Think of it more like a very expansive shooter with a focus on drop-in, drop-out co-op a la Journey or Dark Souls.
-Destiny has three player classes so far: Hunters, Titans, and Warlocks.
-Hunters seem to have a focus on ranged attacks, Titans are more standard tanky class, and Warlocks can utilize techno-magic given to them by the Traveler.
-Destiny will have customizable weapons.
-Destiny will have unique weapons and loot dropped throughout the world. Each of these weapons have their own names. Examples include: Thorn, Pocket Infinity, Super Good Advice, and the Fate of All Fools.
-Destiny will have customizable armor.
-Each player will receive their own starship. And yes, it is customizable.
-At least 6-player co-op is confirmed.
-Competitive multiplayer is confirmed.
-Guilds are confirmed. For proof go to 1:18 on the video and you can see guilds under each player name.
-All planets in the solar system as well as the Moon and Pluto are available to play on.
-Factions are confirmed, and it's possible that their names are: New Monarchy, Dead Orbit, and Future War Cult.
-There will be at least one "Hub" for players to interact in large numbers. Interactions in the Hub will include getting parties together, gambling, and joining competitive matches.
-There are at least six enemy factions announced so far.
-These factions include:
-The Cabal, heavily armored foes with a proclivity for bigass shields.
-The Vex, time traveling robots.
-An as of yet unnamed faction, but apparently they are space zombies who go around in mile-long tomb ships.
-Destiny is always online.
-Destiny will have a mobile phone app that alerts you to new events and allows you to possibly customize your character.
-Destiny will have day/night cycles as well as weather cycles on all environments.
-Very good chance entirety of Solar System is available for free roam in space flight.
-Each planet has its own unique environment.
-Mars is a desert world.
-Venus seems to be a jungle kind of world.
-Saturn is explored through its rings which have multiple derelict shipwrecks in them.
