	yikes... what happened with the eberron shards? the post has a lot of people complaining about it but saying nothing i hope this is just their stupid way of making people feel good that they're raising the costs to half this amount

	On the positive side, the gold dice roll - the one you have to pay astral shards for - apparently gives mainly collectibles. So just blow a bunch of money on dice rolls and having enough collectibles to give to collectors will be no prob.

	It's obvious what's going on here. The initial costs were fairly low, and wouldn't help them sell any astral shards. They want to raise them to encourage people to buy their shitty shards. So the strategy is to raise them through the roof and then pretend to listen to feedback, dropping them to somewhere in between. This move will make all the sheeple happy.

	I used to be a fairly ardent defender of Turbine, but the crap over the past 3 1/2 years, especially since WB took over reminds me of the parable of "how to boil a frog"...Hell, I haven't logged on in over a week except to check out our new guild ship.

Who the fuck cares what type of ship a guild has ? the renown change was good for most of the players/guilds (didn't change much for small guilds) and good for turdbine since more people bought/will buy diamonds/shards for guild ships. Renown decay the way it's currently impletmented is bullshit anyway.
