How many runs have you been in where the dragon and giant don't die at the same time? Now imagine that they res at 100% . . . Beyond the ability of most players to co-ordinate.

Traps hit for a lot more now, djinn ring and energy sheath and you can still die on EH.

I'm not thrilled with the changes, but it appears the raid was really intended all along to be a raid for ranged toons.  And it doesn't really bother me that much that we have a raid designed for ranged toons.

Most melees should now work on fitting in Many Shot.  Turbine is apparently trying to teach people to splash (Paladin, Monk and Ranger being big ones these days).  This will probably net some profit for them, since most folks will screw up their splashes and need buy LR +X Hearts to fix them.

You have to deal with the Stormreaver bomb now. And the undead dragons always spawn, afaik. So it is harder. But not impossible.

He didn't figure it out alone. It was a cooperative effort amongst those in the group that completed the EH version of the raid back-to-back last night with very few deaths. But for a slight hiccup in the second run, no one would have died at all in that one.

Yes, there are some changes (and a couple fairly significant ones) but they can easily be overcome with good tactics.

I hope it can at least be completed on Epic Normal without a Tier 1 sheath, because I don't think that level of grind is that reasonable for a casual player. Ring of the Djinn isn't hard to get though. Although a PITA to get the new version on all your toons that want to run FOT.

Norge is spoiled.  He has a bunch of strong players follow him and then talks like his "tactics" are the best thing since sliced bread, even though it's completely unrelated to the success of his group. 

I mean he says that a single melee can kill a dragon in 30 seconds but in the same breath disparages the tactic of a ranged toon kiting the dragons because a "ranged toon is not contributing DPS on the boss at the same time".  He is way too critical of others who find other tactics or change builds to suit their playstyle. I would like to see the day when he stops being a focal point and learns that his way to play the game is not the only way or even necessarily the best.  I think he could do with an ounce of humility.
