Also, once I move the ddo folder to the stick,do I delete the folder on my hard drive?

Yes it works. You can basically walk around with DDO in your pocket. One problem I had was the config settings do not go with it, OK if you use the default stuff, but if you have custom key mapping it will not carry-over. There is a thread in the forums somewhere about which file needs to go with the rest of it and where to put it. Yes you can delete the DDO folder on the HDD if you want. But if you ever loose the USB you will need to download it again.

I did this starting in January - roughly comparable to SSD speed, visually.  I DID, however, burn out the stick - I don't know if it had anything to do with the game and IO or if I got a crappy USB key to begin with.. I suspect the latter.

Corsair 128 GB USB 3.0 key gone in ~two months - was pissed.

I use the USB method exclusively for DDO...no matter where I go or what computer I have with me, I have my USB and it is always upgraded.

Never had any problems with it yet. Wink

I don't trust corsair anymore, my fairly expensive headset managed to stop working about 2-4 months after i got it (which is really annoying as my second best mic hurts my ears, as it doesn't have any squishy covering, so I just don't use a mic except when skyping......)

In a PC where the game is not installed, I tried to start it, but I get this screen and it doesn´t move any further.

Possible Problem source: I updated it in my other PC the normal way: open it from the USB stick and let the update run. Or do I have to copy again the PC updated files and copy them in the USB stick?

Thanks, it worked!
But I had to restart the PC, once you fuck up with the dndlauncher, it doesn´t start the turbinelauncher.

Obviously, you are not considering the incredible graphics demands of a soulstone being dumped into a lava pit...
