I'm wearing a +6 Cha +15 Diplo necklace on my Wizard right now instead of my Torc.

How fucked up is that?

(I'd slot the Cha and Diplo somewhere else if I could be bothered to actually get those augments or whatever).

I just find it amazing that the Torc is not at all relevant as a piece of gear any more and that I'm getting more mileage from a necklace that gives me +8 Diplo over what I have without the necklace.

On EN and EH, the extra spell points from a Torc aren't needed.  On EE, the extra spell points from a Torc aren't available.

If there were something worth wearing in my necklace slot aside from a Torc, I'd probably try to go get it.  Haven't seen a necklace that got me excited yet.

I moved my GS item there recently.  I've not been super jazzed on Torc either anymore.  There is other stuff that is more valuable in the slots I did have GS in. (Cloak, goggles, bracers).

I've been debating putting a LGA necklace with 33% electrical absorption there. Currently I have that item on boots, but I got the Halcyon Boots from FoT so I might wear those instead. Not as powerful as the torc in terms of getting sp back but the 8 dex, striding and slots will help me more than a slightly more powerful SP regen affect. I'll still likely keep the torc hotbarred. I just wish I didn't have to waste one of my few remaining LGA items, since the boots are now BTC after I crafted on them  Cry  Cry

Why didn't you start your thread like your thirsd post, pope? It would have made more sense than you just trying to be that guy.

The fact that the torc was, and still is to many many people, the only choice for a necklace on anyone with a blue bar since late 2006 is an indication at how strong that item really is.

What character are you choosing +8 diplo over the torc? How much do you even use diplo? I'd with junk, might as well get SP back if you can when you get hit.

It's my Shiradi caster who just barely hits 40 Diplo with the necklace and doesn't hit 40 without it.

I'd swap it in and still wear the Torc most of the time, but I'm pretty consistent about forgetting to swap necks before I step out for Tea with the Queen.

I already have +10 Diplo from the Concordant Opposition Goggles, so the necklace is only adding +3 (Cha bonus) and +5 (moving from +10 to +15).

I'd like to see a necklace with some sort of decent ability and a Yellow slot and a Green slot.  I'd wear the fuck out of that.

I wonder if you couldn't use unbound shards (for the ones you can) so the resulting item is BTCoE and then ASE it if you want to move it. Haven't tried it though.

Also, think it would only work once since it'd be BTCoA when you disjunct.

Yeah, I think this becomes an ideal slot for GS spell point items. Leave the SP item on the majority of the time (for those of us that can't remember to swap gear) and if you're actually noticing you're short on sp then swap to the torc. Haven't had a chance to do that yet but that's my current plan.

Personally I'm on a WF'd, the bracer blocks Superior Parrying, and the Docents available are sub-par compared to the Blue Dragonscale. That said, if Turbine decides to fuck the Blue Dragonscale over by making item-based crit damage no longer work I'd consider swapping to the WW set until I got a Green Docent.

I am farming for an Epic Grim's Bracelet. For the dodge and green slot. Stacking dodge for EE is not a bad idea. Looks like the enh pass will give me another 3% from the Ninja Spy tree too.

What skill/stat bonuses does the noose have?  Traits?  C'mon, don't just talk about an item for my neck and leave out all of the traits.  That's just mean.
