That's the problem I've been having. It's different than the game account details being messed up (which is what the myaccount thing seems to fix). My forum handle is simply not associated with my game account for whatever reason, and it won't let me link my game account to my forum handle. Submitted my ticket a couple days ago, still awaiting any word from Turbine other than their receipt message.
This seems bad from a security standpoint, in that anybody can file a ticket to say oh they're supposed to have forum handle X, thereby potentially taking other people's forum handles whenever Turbine figures out how accounts work. If Turbine can't figure out how to get accounts to link to other accounts (or worse yet, how to access the forum information that presumably was already put into the game account when players first signed up), it'll be hard for them to figure out who's right.
Same problem... I put in a ticket, got an e-mail that I put in a ticket, then got the survey e-mail without an e-mail in between about fixing it. No reason to go postal; I am going to save my survey until the process is completed... soon (tm).
