regarding the current state of the game nobody wants to heal anyone else.  If you're not building with some way of keeping yourself alive you must like sitting in never-filling LFMs.

Actually I run solely in guild/channels so nope I have no issues getting groups. Plus most of my characters that are active have rogue/bard or are healers.

I'd bet anything that if Turbine could do it all over UMD wouldn't be in the game.

I just got that impression after you spent 13 pages calling out eladiun for being an interwebs bully when anyone who's been posting on here already knew that.  I mean, he's proud of it and hardly tries to hide that at all.

I agree with Flint.  I either solo or run in guild/channels 90% of the time.  I've seen plenty of PuG FoT and CiTW that get healers just fine, though.  I got no problem healing on my FvS in EE GH or FoT/CiTW raids.

People have been saying "no one wants to heal" for years.  That's not new.  Nobody likes to heal idiots who have no clue how to build or play a toon.  That's true.  But that doesn't mean there are no healers.

NOTE:  The above applies to EE 6 man quests and EN/EH/EE raids.  Anything else and a healer is not necessary.  Especially in leveling 1-20.  Any PuG waiting on a healer is stupid.  Outside of BB elite Von5/6, BB elite DQ1/2, I can't think of leveling content I'd require a cleric/FvS before I step in.

+3 UMD skill on my fighter just means I am that much closer to no fail heal scrolls.  Of course I will need to pull one from a chest, cause I never do the gold daily dice.

+3 on jump, DD, Open lock, search, spot, swim, most of these could help but will not really be noticeable.

+3 perform on my bard, that could be very nice.

+3 Spell power of varying types if the Spellcraft changes ever make it live.

It isn't about it costing 5 tp, it is about making people buy a point pack.

+3 UMD on a toon that doesn't have it as a class-skill is ubber.

+3 Intimidate is a recovered feat.

The rest?   meh.

People still gear/build for Intimidate?  It's not like EE LOB is worth running...

Any bump to UMD is nice.  +3 for any other skill though is anemic.  We'll get +3 in all skills with the level cap going to 28.

If it was reasonably possible to hit the intim needed for EE mariliths, I'd do so. Intim-tanking EE Lailat and Aurelia would be decently useful. With 105 intim req versus the sources of intim available though, you would have to gimp yourself to hit it. Even a free +3 intim isn't going to fix the situation.

When EE CiTW was worth running we used my stalwart to wrangle the Mistresses and all the trash in the optionals . . . they had an intim of 95.  I should have frapped some videos of 4 mistresses comet-falling + DPing one toon as the same time while yelling "HJEAL MEH!"

Not redonkulous but high enough you had to build for it but didn't need twists or extra gear like an LGA.

No you don't . . . though being a Sentinel could be considered gimping yourself.  Smiley

     Intimidate
23      Rank
5      Epic levels
5      Sentinel ED
6      Draconic ED Twist
6      CHR
6      Skills
20      item
4      ENH
2      Luck
4      GH
5      Claw
2      Barb PL
2      CL Favor
3      Skill Focus
6      Stalwart  III
4      LGA
1      Spider mask
3      Bard

107

I know I've seen higher than this so I'm missing one or two thingies.

most Stalwarts don't walk around with this as they'll be in LD most of the time and won't have the +6 from Draconic twisted in.

Twisting +6 intim is gimping yourself, Barb PL is gimping yourself, SF Intim is definitely gimping yourself, LGA is probably gimping yourself since LGA versions of items you'd actually want to equip just aren't available, having a bard in your party is gimping yourself, etc etc.

You're out of your mind if you're saying 2 feats (on a fucking fighter . . .really?), 1 twist, and one piece of gear is gimping yourself.

Seriously that's retarded.

Only time it's needed is ELOB and Lailat anyway.  If you have that setup the other 99.9% of the time yeah, you're gimping yourself but it's all swappable between quests.

Enough with the god damned theorycrafting already.  There's no content today that people run regularly that require Intimidate, or even places where it's useful.  EE CitW has been fucked for months, draining 5k mana per Lolth beam.  With FoT guaranteeing com drops, there's absolutely no reason to run EE CitW.

EE Lailat is a frickin joke.  We 5 manned her last month and it required no organization.

Well I guess one lucky fella got the two hand treatment and the other had to settle for just one each.
