What are you talking about?  If you don't like recycled epics vs. novel content, OK.  But saying the loot is shit just makes you sound stupid.

One thing for everyone who is a "skeptic" on this issue: Insurance companies are basing their underwriting on the assumption that it is real. They are refusing to write policies on homes that are likely to be in danger from rising seas 20 years from now, even though the resale rate of the homes is so high that they could keep writing policies for another 10 years and still not have to pay out on 1 policy in 5, but that would be irresponsible. Unethical, as well, but that's never stopped anyone before.

The lack of a raid in Shadowfell is a deal breaker.  No point in getting level 28 or farming new quest items in order to run EE raids I already complete.

80-90% of it is OK or good.  How long will it take to fix the 10-20% that everybody seems to agree is messed up?  Mainly the divine trees.

I'd bet that if the Cleric tree was fixed to be at least equivalent to the current capability for offensive casting you would see the hatred drop drastically.

It would definitely drop the hatred level...
Well fixing the 3 divines ( Cleric, Paladin and FvS ) trees so that :
- Clerics have healbot, Melee, offensive Caster trees
- FvS have Melee, defensive caster, offensive caster
- Paladin have an offensive buff tree, a defensive buff tree and a holy warrior tree
would result in about 80/90% drop in hatred.

Add something for dual rapier wielding rogues that is not assassin or pole dancer,
Tweak things so that we don't have to waste points on useless crap ( there's always something like that in all the trees, it's either between tier 3 and tier 4 or between tier 2 and tier 3 in some trees you have to waste up to 10 points in shit stuff to get back to interesting things )

And you'll get a convert.

Oh and right now I may, eventually, aim at the normal package, sans owlee beer...
No point in wasting money on useless crap.

Don’t forget:
- Ditch the 2AP cost for everything.
- Make the DCs for shit like Arcane Archer meaningful.  (ex.  10 + character/ranger level + Primal sphere caster level bonuses + DEX/WIS mod + enhancement bonus of the weapon.)
- Drop the shit prereqs for Racial PrEs especially if the character has appropriate class levels.
- Allow races to pick any tree from their preferred P&P class.  And limit half-elves to the class PrE’s associated with their dilettante feat.

I agree with 1%er.

As the father of a developmentally delayed child, I tend to avoid such terms and find them more offensive than I did prior.  When you have someone in your life who struggles mightily against enormous challenges and odds on a daily basis you don't see mental retardation or autism or CP or downs as something you use as a term of derision or an insult.  Because you know that the people who have these challenges and refuse to give up are really to be honored and celebrated rather than mocked for the seemingly simple things that are so difficult for them because they don't give up.

Sorry for the real life anecdote.    Back to the name calling.

Pretty much all I was saying.  Plenty of ways to insult people you intend to insult without insulting those who you don't.  But some idiots here will disagree with me if I say "'the' starts with the letter 't'".

Just an inch further and you'll be with all the SJW freaks getting upset that people use the word "moron" outside of its very antiquated clinical context. You did know that moron was used to describe mild retardation, right, clinically?

You can only be offended if you let yourself be offended or are seeking out oblique opportunities to let your feeling get hurt.

Oh, shit, look at that, "idiot" was also used to refer to people with mental retardation.

Quote:
In 19th and early 20th century medicine and psychology, an "idiot" was a person with a very severe mental retardation. In the early 1900s, Dr. Henry H. Goddard proposed a classification system for mental retardation based on the Binet-Simon concept of mental age. Individuals with the lowest mental age level (less than three years) were identified as idiots; imbeciles had a mental age of three to seven years, and morons had a mental age of seven to ten years. The term "idiot" was used to refer to people having an IQ below 30.

I remember last time when they released MoTU expansion.  Even though I was short on cash, still I debated with myself, and even asked the opinion of other forum posters.  Eventually, I bought two 80$ pre-order expansion.

Now, it is just so sad.

1%er and Dio...you guys need to keep your non-DDO squabbles in P&R like you normally do.

Move your discussion there now or else somebody will, as Gawna would put it, "Moderate your faces off!"

So I am pretty impressed with the look of the new Bladeforged...  Hoping for a similar option for TRing at some point "soon"...

I'm thinking that having lvl 15 to start bank toons is a win. Then again, every addition means more storage woes...  How long has it been now since we had some real storage increases?

iirc, in the past year they did increase the "shared bank storage" from? 50?? to 80??.

That's it in so far as I know. We def need some more storage options BtC/BtA anything at all *imo*.

There has been tons of ideas well, make it so TR cache you put stuff back into it as well is 1 I

like/remember. It is possible there might be technical limitations at this point but I don't care we

need something.
