haven't read thread, but just saying that instead of "powered by our fans" being at the end of every message they should just have "sorry for the inconvenience"

Doesn't matter that they are telling you that you won 1000 turbine points, still "sorry for the inconvenience" at the end.

Get people's expectations where they should be at.

EDIT: now I have read the thread, and all I can say is that majmal is really the only one at turbines with any balls. It's one thing for turbine devs to post info on the official forums where they are protected by their forum mods, but to come here where you are subject to whatever we say to you, and noone is gonna protect you....and still come back and share info.....that takes balls.

Candy Crush?

Holy shit have you listened to the music in Candy Crush. I'm in love with the game just for that.

And holy hell I didn't know there was an actual dev here if that's even true.

Question of the day:
Why when I fix my truck with ductape I'm called ghetto, but when turbine fixes ddo with ductape they consider it professionialism?

Trust me you don't want to know what really with these awesomium processes and DDO...

You really don't want to know. ( I don't want to know either, but once I had the bad idea to start wireshark and to look at what DDO traffic... That has been enough for me )

I'm reading the forums just fine.

Which is to say I opened a tab and checked if I could, not that I'm actually reading them.

Looks intermittent; I just logged in successfully on the fourth attempt, then got booted out when trying to navigate to account settings.

No, I don't want to be banned.
And it is a known fact that they ban people that post reverse engineering and/or deep information about network communication and how the game works...

But I'm confident somebody like Mr Brown ( look for his latest posts ) has the means and the technical knowledge to find what I found.

It is just a windowless web-browser. It is incorrectly used by Turbine . Wink

Adam Simmons was giving demos a couple of years ago.
The SDK is available online so you can see what it is about.

it's not the web browser the problem, despite the fact that it has to spawn 6 or 7 times... It's something else. ( sorry, I'll keep it paranoiac fight club, as I'm not that anonymous here when it comes to my DDO account. )

I haven't looked at the stream and don't even have Wireshark on my Windows partition, but would I be terribly wrong if I guessed it had something to do with the word "plaintext"?

A guildie tried logging in today... accidentally clicked on the "credits" button...

As the music started playing and the credits rolling... he got a shock. He thought DDO had shut down!!

As if... :/
