FFX and FFX-2 remastered.

FFX was probably my all time favourite Final Fantasy game. Ever. As a matter of fact, I was playing it again just a few months ago. Turns out they are releasing an HD remake of FFX and FFX-2 this year! Woot!

I already pre-ordered from Amazon. 40 bucks for both games on PS3. Too fucking cool.

FFX was decent! FFX-2 was crap! FFVI-FFIX were the best in the FF series with FFVI being my personal favorite.

FFX-2 I didn't really play much, but the combat was pretty interesting.

My top 3 is IX, VI, then a tie between VII and IV.

And FF8 is getting a PC re-release (only in Japan so far).  I'd rather see FF9 remastered.  FF8 sucks balls.

I'm glad there is so much more diversity in which FF game people like the most. Usually it's "FF7 is the best game ever of all times and ever will beee!!" and no one gives a shit about any other FF titles.

My personal ranking would put ffx > ff8 > ff7 > ffx2

I didn't care for 9 at all. The card game in 8 was my second favorite mini game (after blitzball)

If I had to put them in order it would be FFVI > FFVIII > FFIX > FFVII > FFX

I pretty much liked em all except the ones for the ps3, FXIII I think, isn't that the one that takes place in cocoon city or someshit, that one was fucking awful. Hah I got it sitting on a shelf as I bought it with the ps3 and bleh what a waste of cash.

I haven't played the FFX-2 yet. I kind of lost touche with console games round the time this one came out.

I enjoyed FFXII. I think that was the one right after the online one right?

People I really don't like here list is small.  Not that you or anyone should care, but for me it is Calvet, because he's stupid in a bitchy drama way, and Breaken, but he is a liar and a blunt, inelegant angry guy

FF1 is the best. Only one that was challenging. Try getting the tail before level 20.

Fuck yeah.

They were using an ad for the remasters while I was shopping for a new TV... and it's gonna look awesome on the one I bought.

FFX was my favorite as well.

FFX > FF8 > FF4 > FF7

I do have to admit though as far as remakes go, I'd much prefer to play a remade FF7, it's by far the most dated.

Enjoy it Rest.

I remember reading somewhere that someone at SquareEnix said that they wouldn't remake FF7 until they had made a game that they felt was better than it.

These aren't really remakes, they're remasters, and if they're anything like the Kingdom Hearts remaster, it's just smoother motion, better colour palette, and updated sound.

Still, excited!  I suppose even the old version would look better on my new tv, compared to the 20" CRT from the early 80s that I was using when they first came out.  Cheesy

FF6 was my fave, followed by a tie between 4 and VII.

Just something about the later games play styles, world, and story I just couldn't get into.

I tried to like X really hard, but blitzball drug me down, among other things.  I will admit the ghost guy Auron was one of my fave all-time characters of the FF series.  I was also really turned off on how easy the last fight was.

Didn't like 8 at all.

Last fight wasn't the REAL fight. All those bitchin arena monsters you had to create were the real deal. And the new updated version is the international version with even harder mobs to kill; the Dark Aeons

Man I loved blitzball.

A silly statement considering they milked the shit out of it with animes and a bunch of other stuff.

Strange they haven't remade it yet considering how much they could probably cash-in from it.

But they have been kinda stupid for a few years now.

I tried the earthquake boss, he one shot my party of nearly maxed out characters like 3 times, never even put the game back in the console after that.

If only there was a way to avoid that! You know that summon of yuna that flies, or use the sleep effect to your advantage...... You know sleepers stay asleep if you use magic right?

(That was rhetorical as you obviously did not)
