Genius!
Been manually cancelling them out of my task manager 1 at a time -.-
I haven't fully tested if disabling Awesomium actually helps me dualbox/login faster/swap characters faster or anything, but this looks like an even simpler way to disable it if you want:
Set the file security on AwesomiumProcess.exe for "Traverse folder / execute file" to Deny for all users. File exists, can be read and checked it has the correct CRC etc but cannot be launched.
1. Right-click AwesomiumProcess.exe file -> Properties -> Security -> Advanced -> Change Permissions -> with entry for Users selected click Edit.
2. 2nd entry in list is "Traverse folder / execute file", add check mark in the Deny column. OK, OK, etc. to save. Windows gives a warning about Deny settings taking precedence over all any Allow settings.
If you ever do want to use the in-game DDO Store/Help Tickets/etc, just go un-check that Deny.
Seems to do what you want with no hassle. Will see if it actually speeds things up for me.
