How is Spell power lower if the "heal skill" spell power bonus is equal to the "devotion ap" spell power bonus at the spot where this stat is met unless you don't start at the 12 or 14?

If you don't have a +stat item on that character you don't have max sp or max dc depending on the class.  Who's not max now?

I am not making you slot a skill item. I'm using a stat item you should be wearing really.

If you don't have that item it's going affect sp or dc. Either of which on a self healing character or an offensive caster I'd be slotting that item.

heal, or repair, or Spellcraft (do they make such a thing?) item for the extra 15-20 or so spell power.

It's the same bullshit we had in Motu where you now need a Devotion item equipped on a Ranger/pally/bard whereas before an ardor pot would do. 

We need so much shit crammed in on our toons now that I'm sorry, we don't have room for anything else.

I agree with the fact that they should focus on content.  I haven't hated all the raids since Chrono.  I like LoB and FoT.  I do not like CiTW or MA.

I think that they should spend some time on making new content and on making old raids more desirable again.  An end game that consists of FoT, CiTW and 6 man GH EE's and High Road is pretty a pretty small sandbox.

No where did I lose spell power from you current build. I gained you space in enhancements even. But you choose not to see it. See my other post for the only scenarios you'd lose spell power in my idea.

I also left out TOMES which would actually be another gain in spell power if you had either a stat or skill tome.

They need to add +3/+5/+10/+15/+20 skills as colorless augments at level 4/8/12/16/20.  Especially with this new change. 

EDIT:  Changed to skills because I'm typing while not fully awake.

LOL . . . the "end-game" of DDO is TRing . . . and now those chimps want to fuck with that with such brilliant ideas like resetting your ED XP.

It's all Feather's fault, it really is.  Loot is the driving factor that gets people to repeatedly run content at end-game.  When your mission in life is to obsolete the loot that came before you, you obsolete the pack where said loot comes from.

Please go back and reread my original post and measure it against current in game systems.

I am not requiring a skill item, Skill tome, Stat tome, to get to the CURRENT casting bonuses available in game. I am requiring a basic build with base 12 or 14 base stat in a "primary or secondary" stat of the class chosen and the appropriate level item for that same stat to give you the EXACT spell power in game currently with enhancements maxed.

10 with a +4 tome (I run a lot of EEs).  Just enough to caster a level 4 spell without an item.

Even at max-ranks of Heal I was 50 Spell Power short from what I was on live.

I have NO Free gear slots, equipping a "Heal" item is 100% out of the question.

Which is why I said please reread the post. It was a proposal not a this is how I see the enhancement pass currently working.

Coming at them saying "scrap it, it's a piece of shit" isn't the only answer. Work with the current system as the baseline and make the new system be able to match the current numbers with a reasonable build is the best way for them to convert from the Devotion AP system to a Skill based system.

Rangers and Wizards (seriously, I think I point points in "Swim" on my wizard) have the skill points to pay this tax, nobody else does.

So you'd rather use AP on Devotion spell power? When if they did polish this system not only would you possibly gain Spell Power but you could have more options on the enhancement trees?

No it didn't.  The "Scrap this piece of Shit" was all the people clamoring to drop the whole Enhancement Pass and stick with the current enhancement system, just finish the PrE's.  People who accepted that the Enhancement Pass was coming and made comments about it:  Cleric trees suck.  Not enough Trees.  Too many points needed.  Are seeing changes to the system, such as the dropping of protection and the two new trees for divines and the new tree for sorcs, etc, etc.

"Scrap this piece of shit" is always the first feedback ignored.
