Its going to be great when every class gets to toss around fire/acid/sonic/hell balls

Really Maj? Isnt it depressing to know that the best improvement to this game would be to FIRE everyone and Roll the game back a couple of years?

STFU already.  It costs 50 SP to use and DCs are based off of INT or CHA.  There's also the clause "Successful Reflex saving throws may negate each type of damage." which makes it wallpaper for EE content.

Honestly, it's about time.  I mean, what the hell is the point of being a Wizard if you can't turn someone into a frog?

Wizards are still shit out of luck.  It's DC 20 + WIS modifier.

*sigh*  Didn't catch that.  Everyone's shit out of luck in that case, unless there's a population of Transmutation-focused Wis casters out there I've never run across  :/

Forced Escape: 30 SP.  You radiate destruction, dealing 20d20 sonic damage to enemies around you.  Enemies succeeding a Fortitude saving throw vs DC 20 + WIS take half damage.  This dispels crowd control effects such as stun on you, and can be used when stunned or otherwise incapacitated (but still conscious).  2 Divine EDs capped.

Tactician: +2 Tactical Feat DC.  1 Martial ED capped.

Pierce Adamantine: Your equipped weapons are considered Adamantine.  1 Martial ED capped.  <-- Versions for each metal type. Mithril version doesn't appear to work.

First Blood: Melee weapon and unarmed attacks deals 5d20 more against enemies with more than 90% HP.  This extra damage won't trigger twice within three seconds.  2 Martial EDs capped.

Elusive Target: Each time you would be physically damaged, you have a 5% chance to completely ignore the damage.  Applies to physical attacks and spells that deal physical damage.  2 Martial EDs capped.

What wasn't clearly explained earlier: ED feats are granted at levels 26 and 28 like bonus feats for Fighters and Monks.

Wait . . . is this 10d6 for EACH element at the same time?

Did the tod sets update retroactively?  If so, what do they look like now? If not, someone run ToD on Lamannia.

Yes. It may not seem a big increase but it is imho. Add to that:

Uncanny Dodge
Meld Into Darkness

and we are looking at some serious survavibility.

Also, this affects spells too. If with spells they mean even DoTs like Burning Blood, even better.

Improved Uncanny Dodge and MID should put you in the 100% miss chance anyway (which is the reason why they have such tiny durations), so there is no benefit from Elusive Target.

As far as spells go, the really bad one with physical damage is Blade Barrier, and as a Rogue, you should always have the saves to evade that one.

I just don't see how anyone can justify taking this feat right now. 5% is a joke for a supposed epic feat.

MiD will, but IUD won't. IUD only gives 50% more. You would have to already be at 50% dodge to reach 100%. Though with the other mentioned buffs, mobs would only hit you 9.375% of the time.

There are also a few enhancements in the pass that increase max dodge bonus. They seem rather expensive, though.

I would rather see something to increase the dodge cap, as that is more beneficial in how it stacks.

I mentioned IUD in conjunction with Incorporeality and Concealment buffs, of course. I guess it depends on how many feats you have to waste, but I have yet to see a compelling reason to blow a feat on this garbage.

It has a 5% of proc whenever you would take damage. The wording sounds suspiciously like the Torc mechanism, meaning that as long as mobs miss, it won't have any effect.

So theoretically, of those 9.375% that you would get hit, only 5% would of those would be completely negated, which amounts to a percentage of 0.47. That's pretty horrible IMO.

It wouldn't matter either way. Whether it's calculated before or after the other effects, it's the same, low difference if it doesn't add onto another effect.

People shouldn't care.  ToD sets are not end game gear.

I despise wearing the ghetto Gilvaenor's set on my AA.  Turbine's itemization team needs to feather_of_sun the stacking ranged haste already and introduce well itemized ML28 gear to replace it.

What ring/belt combination is more DPS added than ravager?

AA necklace is still good.

Rest of it?  Meh . . .

yes, but the AA one is a real 10% RoF increase for ranged and melee the Stormreaver necklace is better.

Also with all the fucking damage we do now 2 points a shot one way or another is meh.

Nothing comes ahead in the DPS calcs . . . yet.  I mean it's not good enough to bother pursuing on anyone who doesn't have it.
