The port option to cove is in the harbor again. Was this announced or only hinted?
That's not opinion, that's science. And science is one cold hearted bitch with a 14 inch strap on.

No new loot or upgrades compared to last time. And the heal flask still requires an obscene 5500 shards. Huge waste of time, especially during a 15% bonus xp weekend.

I have about 30 items sitting at Tier 2, and maybe 1 or 2 items at Tier 3.
Last time around I ran it maybe once or twice to finish off my Tier 2 items. This time around I cant imagine I will run it at all.

One thing for everyone who is a "skeptic" on this issue: Insurance companies are basing their underwriting on the assumption that it is real. They are refusing to write policies on homes that are likely to be in danger from rising seas 20 years from now, even though the resale rate of the homes is so high that they could keep writing policies for another 10 years and still not have to pay out on 1 policy in 5, but that would be irresponsible. Unethical, as well, but that's never stopped anyone before.

The air elemental gems are goddamned awful ever since they changed air elementals. Besides that, half the TRs in groups are using epic summons anyway.

Guess I need to going those out on my TR... Perhaps I'll do that after I know what the Epic TR requires. The Elems are most just a convenient bit of fodder anyway.

Well good news is I can quickly pound out a couple more rings and spyglasses.
Hell maybe a set of Cav plate ... meh ...
I do like it for something different to do but sweet mother of Christ some people need to learn that the only one placing torches should be the torch runner.
ROFL.
At least the lag isn't as bad as Mabar's was.

I skipped cove last time so I've been wandering in there this time to get a few items.
Another thing is the TORCH RUNNER SHOULD GOD DAMN LISTEN TO THE SCOUTS! When a scout says east is crap go west. Don't fucking put a line all over the east side of the map!

Does Cove trolling still work? The one where you DC mid-run and when you come back you bug the whole group out of getting dragonshards?

Just finished the best cove run ever. level 24 run with a pug of lvl 23+ toons.
Scouts died, middle defender died, line watchers all dead.
Me the torch runner. spent so much time scroll raising / it became quickly apparent that this group wasn't even gonna manage to get the initial 100 crystals.
Oh yeah and apparently it's my fault they died because ... well nobody could really explain it to me ... but it was my fault.
So I ran off to a deep dark corner, dropped all the torches, DDoored to the entrance dropped the teleporter and walked out, with a thanks for the fish!
I have been in many PUG runs of level 27+CC and always managed a minimum of 350 shards. This one run was an aberration for sure but man the biggest clusterfuck I have seen in a LONG time.

Spyglass is still the best of breed in cove.
Piercing spec melee the smallblade is OK because of the doublestrike. I actually have run cove a few times this time around to make a 16 and a 20 for an eventual Shadar Kai type.
Level 16 and 20 Cavalry plate is OK until AC loses its relevance.
Some of the trinkets are nice at ML 4 on a TR.
Else, air elemental gems.
Instant asshole. Just add alcohol.
