I'm speechless.

WTF, exactly, am I looking at here? I know it's FoS but what is he posing as??

His idea of dressing himself I suppose.  I'm guessing he designed it himself.

You can't craft clickies (though you should be able to).

It's pretty hilarious - though not at all surprising - how badly FOS underestimated the number of items with nonstandard MLs.

Actually, you can craft Ardor/Erosion/etc alchemical spellpower clickies....

He knew. He doesnt care. His goal is to leave an indelible mark on the game. Its an ego thing.

The only thing I dont understand is why more senior people arent watching him drive people away.

Unless they think we will buy the new project they are working on, once we give up on this one.

Good for them, I'll just go back to playing Civ III or IV.

He didn't know. He argued over and over on the forums that almost no existing items would be affected. He wasn't lying - he's not that clever - he really believed that. It is an ego thing, hubris is too great for him to do any kind of real analysis of what the effects of something he changes might be.

Hubris and stupidity are by no means mutually exclusive Wink

We don't know that this premise is true, tho - Tuhrd and his ilk are prime examples... some people stay in the relationship because they LIKE the abuse Cheesy

I love how he showcases banishing, vorpal, smiting, disruption, but fails to mention, "Oh, by the way, we nerfed those to near uselessness, so we are reducing their ML penalty so they are still near useless, but you can decide how useless sooner than you could before."

I went RIGHT to that point while reading through the posts, too!
