I knew she had ties with the podcast, and as I understand is now in a position of senior community specialist, more to do with public relations then any actual segment in any part of game development, hence a marionette with others pulling her strings.

Now that you've put it all in the right context, with that infractioning piece of shit called Jerry Snook, wanker that doesn't even enter any moderately relevant discussion on official boards, but can, without any dignity left, freely stamp a couple of posts in thread tied to that cruel joke of a bug with missing ham on airships, so surreal I honestly thought of being, whatcha call it, "rickrolled", can see how part of signing a contract with Turdbine had a clausule about selling their worthless souls for commercial gain.
Instead of them fighting the beast from within, they just roll with the program, with a blank stare and a smile even, ufff.
