From the Shadowfell release notes

"The drop rate for requisition items received through killing boss monsters in Crystal Cove is lower than intended. The requisition item prices have been temporarily lowered in the DDO Store."

We don't plan on fixing this until we get some data on how many customers will PAY for requisitions.  If the number is too low, we will further drop down the drop rate until an acceptable level is reached.

Please expect this to begin to occur in other events that are held.

Gold Coins from Festivult?  You can buy them from the DDO Store.

Purple Coins from Risia Ice Games?  You can buy them from the store.

Liche Dust from Mabar?  You can buy them from the store.

Eventually, the goal is to make it so that no items of value drop in any event, all items will be available from the store.  You will get Mabar shards, Risia Shards, Festivult shards, that allow you to access the chest.  But to use the chest you will need store bought items to make anything.

BTW, to ensure that this is the course of action is followed, please notice that items from the events will be changed, ie, level increased +6, the ability no longer is applicable, etc.

This is going to be wonderful.
