15 Astal shards or Korthos?

I fucking hate this shard mart bullshit. But I just blew 15 shards on a gold roll and leveled myself past Korthos with the xp from the roll. 

The only thing worse than astral shards is fucking korthos island. As much as it pains me to say it I think every life is going to start with a gold roll now just to level past noob quest hell...

Hope you don't plan on using an XP stone on that guy. The xp things you get from the daily dice rolls put you in a state that mimics banking xp, and thus you can't use a bigby or otto stone to level.

Why would you even need to play Korthos at all? 

There's no reason to do those Level 1 quests at all... You can start in the harbor with the level 2 quests and "levelled out of Korthos" after two quests.

Good to know. I was not aware of that. But I am on a budget. Only stone I ever used was the free one. I think I might just start banking all of my xp off of the silver rolls and use it when I TR to boost myself past lowbie hell.

Most of the quests in the harbor rate as high as Korthos imho. I'll be happy to skip some of them also....
