Is totally nuts.  It's an order of magnitude better.  How much MoTU or eGH gear (not including weapons/shields) will you be using at level 28?  I'm not finding much of anything.

There are very few things that will make it onto a character with topend gear.  From what I've seen so far...

Melee:

Skullduggery Kit: 10% Dodge permutation, 50 HP or Seeker X version.

Lootgen ring or cloak: +8 Deadly of +8 Accuracy with a yellow slot (ML27).  Mastercrafted ML28 should be +9 to both.

In addition to the above, on my AA:

Goggles: +11 WIS lootgen

On my evoker FvS:

Skullduggery Kit (10% Dodge)

Sage's Necklace (Evocation +5 DC, Spellcraft +15)

Goggles: +11 WIS lootgen

On my Pale Master:

Nether Orb (+5 Necro DC)

Lootgen +11 INT

Maybe the 10% Dodge Skullduggery Kit

All the other EE/ML28 gear is underwhelming.  That's three pieces per archetype I'm replacing.  I'm still using plenty of EE/ML25 gear from GH/Highroad and raid loot.  If you're replacing most of your gear, then you didn't have much to start with.

+8 STR ring of GFL ML 23 ( as reward from an EH LOB )

Even without going into LVL 25+ lootgen it seems they have done something with lootgen and now we get useful items out of old stuff.

( STR and GLF are uncommon on rings, and getting both on the same ring is... quite rare )

Rings with Colorless + Yellow slots. Rings with Green Slots.

Deadly Goggles of Accuracy makes Dream Visor look bad, and is also available with Resistance instead of Accuracy. I haven't seen the exact item, but ml 23 +7 damage, +7 resistance seems possible.

Ran a couple of the Wheloon Prison Quests this morning, checking out the scenery...getting the last few PDK favor to unlock the conflux set (won't use much till I get a Twilight though). 

Broke a barrel and got Wis +8 Goggles of Resistance +7, Masterfully Crafted with Yellow Augment Slot....(my Concop is Jealous...)

It was ML17, but I got a ring last night with Deadly 5 & +4 Resistances.  No curse or master craft on it.

someone linked ML:9 goggles with deadly V.

So the EXACT SAME bonus to damage as dream visor, but 16 levels earlier, and much easier to get.

One update to nerf dream visor to the ground, and make it a worthless piece of shit item Smiley

(And let's be honest if you were wearing it for the yellow augment slot, the 20 spot, or the +5 to hit you were probably doing it wrong.)

I don't get why they are bringing some very powerful stuff down alot (the deadly for example) but still having this stupid curve on stat points.  +6 at level 11 but then only +7 and +8 up through 24 and then you can get to +11 by 28.  The huge gap from 11 to 25 is odd, especially given the huge uptick from 26 thru 28. 

Why not fix the curve overall, including the MoTU and eGH loot?  Retroactively make anything ML 17 a +7 bonus.  ML 21 +8, ML 23 +9, ML 25 +10, ML 27 +11.  That would make dun'robars +8 items.  Most EN/EH loot in GH +9, with the Raid loot and EE stuff +10.  Would have fixed a lot of the loot problems. 

The way they chose to handle it is just baffling to me.  An ML 25 raid loot item with +8 stat and there are ML 26 loot gen items with +10.  You can get Masterful Craftsmanship loot gen items with +9 stats with a lower ML than the eGH named EE or FoT loot.

All of this would imply that they sit down and draw up a plan, have internal meetings, ask for player feedback, and thoroughly test before finalizing...like any rational game developer who cares about the quality of their product.

The Deadly prefix to me seems so overpowered that I campare it to fortification.  Every character HAS to have it.  Now really only a character that hits anything with a weapon needs it, but that is still a big deal to make an effect that EVERY melee now needs.

Some items I pulled:

Ring Deadly 9, Archmagi
Helm Deadly 9, Accurate 8
Helm Deadly 9, Protection 8
Cloak Deadly 8, Protection 8

Bought off auction house:

Goggles Deadly 9, intimdate +19
Helm Deadly 8, Natural Armor 8, colorless slot, yellow slot

It seems the prefix is plentiful, but it should be since you will now expect every melee at endgame to have Deadly 8 or 9.

That seems like a good option.  For my cleric and FvS lives I used the Sacred set from the Red Fens.  I hate that the items are BTC and not BTA, but the items are easy to get and the helm provides Deathblock at level 7 IIRC.

Yep.  They have really screwed up all named loot with this new ML stuff.  The ML on deadly and natural armor and such is so different that the loot gen stuff is generally better than named atm.
