Only ran one, so I have no idea how it could be broken. Thoughts? Speculations? Fight Club?

I dunno.  Only thing I've heard on it is that you don't get a quest completion if you're dead.

Guildie said she completed the saga chose the xp token, and didn't get it in her pack nor was it added to her current xp total.
So maybe that's why?

Somebody in sarlona (one of those with spaces in their G U I L D N A M E and may or may not have xx before and after their character name) was bragging they were getting insane amounts of xp from it, enough that they hit 28 in a day (or a few hours, was 25 when I logged out, capped when I came back the next day). Something about the saga end reward.

Hmm, the more time pass and the more I have this coming to my mind :

Shadowfail Conspiracy : More Exploits than any previous update carried.

Maybe we should start maintaining a list.

Wasn't there an exploit a while back where you could get multiple end-chain rewards. Maybe similar to that.

That's what I was thinking. That definitely got some guilds on Sarlona banned last time around.

fify

Rebellion, aka Remants of Syphiroth aka Giants of Winter and Old Night.
Most of the guild was banned though.
For more details dig in the Vault Archive ( especially the Drama Initiative and Infractions and the Vault of Drama ), you'll find plenty of them.

The bug was such that you could easily cap even on a EH saga reward, let alone an EE one. It simply required a bit of...running, but it certainly beat Rusty Blades, Impossible Demands, or any other high xp/min quest you can think of by a fucking mile.

I am really surprised that this one got caught as quickly as it did. But hey, they always have spare resources for bugs that help players, right?

A shame, really.  I just finished an EH Saga (MoTU), and it would have been a nice xp addition.  Ah well, I'm sure it'll be back up in a few weeks/months/years/ages.

Take your time, Turbine.  You do it well.
