Looks like maddmatt has been doing some creative writing:

https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/424841-How-Epic-Destinies-and-Epic-Xp-...

I look forward to seeing how this plays out.

Chai has, of course, chimed in already. It is only a matter of time before Turdh and perhaps Hendrik do as well.

Ask Chai if buying EDs is pay to win...

One thing for everyone who is a "skeptic" on this issue: Insurance companies are basing their underwriting on the assumption that it is real. They are refusing to write policies on homes that are likely to be in danger from rising seas 20 years from now, even though the resale rate of the homes is so high that they could keep writing policies for another 10 years and still not have to pay out on 1 policy in 5, but that would be irresponsible. Unethical, as well, but that's never stopped anyone before.

It is fairly natural to assume that the fair price for the pot is the fair value of the resources I needed to make the pot plus the fair value of my labor.

I would but I am not allowed to post on the DDO Forums any more.

It seems as though maddmatt is finally aware that his brainfarts have brought about the general concensus that he is a tool extraordinaire, so now he is going with a popular opinion to make himself popular again: ED and EE XP.

Good on you matt. It's cheaper than meds.

Good suggestions by Norg.  I generally agree.  On my FvS, I couldn't care less.  The character is more powerful in Angel, Shiradi, Primal Avatar, or GmoF, but the majority of the power of the class comes from the heroic stuff.  On my melees, I see  a bigger difference when in some lame, craptastic destiny like fatesinger or draconic.

This may be the first time I've ever agreed with maddmatt.  Usually I think his ideas are fucking terrible:

1. Playing in an off destiny sucks monkey balls.  It's a terrible experience.
2. New/high level quests should give more XP than older/lower level quests.  The XP in Shadowfell is pathetic.  If I want quick XP, I'll run VON3 x3/day for 200k XP.  FFS, the optionals in Shadowfell give less than 2k XP.  Running Shadowfell content on EE/EH/EN to get from 25 to 28 is fine.  Running it repeatedly for ED XP is poor time:XP.

That's pretty much what's going on now... VON3 1x per day... Easy stuff and can cap a destiny quite quickly if doing it consistently...

Well, he finally managed to post something that doesn't make me want to stab him in the face because he's so fucking retarded.
