	That's nonsensical. Splashing ranger isn't even that popular from what I've seen (probably only due to unpopularity of 2wf). Druid, cleric, paladin are more popular.

	asshats. guess i really WILL have to TR my former jugg out of WF. that extra spell power allowed me to self heal effectively without quickened reconstruct, using cure serious and cocoon.

	It just means that all those self healing melee builds will either splash 2 artificer and scroll heal, or TR into Bladeforged for Reconstruct in U20. Fuck you Turbine.

	All I can say is: be prepared for more shit like this. I knew it was only a matter of time before they started nerfing enhancement stuff. Not like they actually know how to test anything effectively before putting it on live, after all. There will be more stuff nerfed into nothingness very soon.

	Honestly I'm getting plenty of healing on my 8 ranger splash right now between empower healing and my 75 devotion from ranger...but I have devotion slotted nowhere at the moment. Once my Pinion is fully upgraded I'll still get plenty of healing from Cocoon as I'll be better off than I am now. So it's not the end of the world for Cocoon. That said, they really need to rethink this. The current system is brokenly good for small splashes. When splashing 1 ranger is a serious thought for healers there's something wrong. There was one nice suggestion on the board to put 25 devotion as low-hanging fruit in all 3 ranger trees. I also made a suggestion there to put 8 devotion into every ranger core ability for every tree. It really cuts down on crazy devotion numbers on splashes but makes a pure ranger reasonably capable of getting to slightly higher numbers than on live now.

	I do have devotion slotted. And empower healing. My guy is 16 ranger. He also happens to be a WF, because he sucked as a Jugg. Without that extra positive spell power, his self healing is going to go down, and it's gonna suck. I used the 20 heart so I didn't have to fucking TR him. Now it looks like I will have to anyway.

I like the idea of putting 25 points for 1 AP in each of the trees so you'd have to spend 3 trees to get it. Wouldn't affect real-rangers by but of the splashers couldn't do it.

I have never heard or seen anyone splashing a level of ranger on a healer post-U19. With the changes to the Heal skill, enhancements, and gear, it is entirely unnecessary. I run a FvS myself, and if I ever felt the need to splash a level of ranger (of all things) to help me heal, I would delete the toon in shame and stick to anything non-divine. Why is Turbine so afraid of self-healing toons? Why do SF pots come with hefty penalties when used? I swear, sometimes I feel like they will remove Heal scrolls from the game entirely, just to make people dependent on toons built specifically for healing. This a bullshit fucking change that does nothing more than to restrict the way you wanna play your toon.

	My bard looked at rangers with envy for how easy it was for them to get aweome heals. A change was not unreasonable, but this is too much.

	a buddy logged checked it on lamaland yes empathy dropped from 15 per AP to 4 per AP but you get 10 per core eg my AA with Sniper Shot will drop from 60 to 46, hardly the end of the world.

	It's a shame they don't give options other than DWS but if they're giving 10 per core that's reasonable. I'd just rather see it not require deep DWS spending for pures to get what they can get now.
