Agreed with this... and that was one of the reasons I liked TL and TL II... the developers didn't micromanage every aspect of it.  It was like a sandbox compared to D3... you could do a lot more of what you wanted when  you wanted... it wasn't micromanaged to death and milked for every damn cent. :p

I picked it up for the PS3.  It's a fairly-enjoyable time-waster while co-opping with friends, but it's not as interesting as the console port of Baldur's Gate was (not even going to bother with pointless comparisons to the PC versions).
