i originally started just to see if it worked..wasnt planning any real dupeing

then when i saw rare hard to get things magically appearing in my bag,i lost all control

for the next 3 hrs i duped giddily with a huge smile on my face

i didnt need any of the things i duped..i wont even use them

but i found it very hard to stop anyway

havnt got the ban yet but am expecting it

i know someone who duped absolutely silly amounts.  10,000 stacks. millions of motes. rare augments. you name it, he had thousands of it.  he did NOT sell any of it.  no ASAH/AH. he gave some of it away, the rest he hoarded.

I don't think they are going to catch ( or actually do something on ) everybody, the duping was too widespread.

But they are most probably going to hunt down those that put all those stacks on the AH and ASAH ( because they have logs of the transactions ), and they can also track down those that duped huge stacks ( 10K stacks ) of stuff, because it's easy to find with simple queries in the database.
( select account name from account where character name is ( select character name from char_list where inventory contains FRDS.Stack Size > 500 ) [Note, this is not a real valid SQL query, even if it doesn't come far, I'm not trying to weird out DBAs again ] )

But all the small fry that duped 10 scales to get an armor, and/or a few 100 challenge ingredients
is probably not going to get hit, because that would mean hitting enough people to actually harm the game.
