not gonna hate on this one, his build doesn't sound half bad, even sound pretty sweet......

no 12 ftr 6 mnk 2 pal easily outclasses 90% of builds just because of the silly synergy  between those splits (not that I would have it nerfed, I like that more people are playing fighters......less played class becomes a top class...excellent)

And I didn't see the talk on ameliorating strike in the builds section, time to find that....also I don't read the builds section on the DDO forums......only really poke my head in to read drama I mean general discussion....

I think a pretty nice build could be 14 paladin 4 favoured soul 2 monk........all the heal amp from pally with ameliorating strike would be pretty sweet, especially if duel wielding longswords while centred or just go with khopes/balizardes.

So what, if he wants to play it, good for him.
I don't get the hate or " this is better so play this".
Want to see Shiradi sorcerers everywhere or what ?

If you're addressing madmatt, nobody's putting him down for not playing one build or the other. If you can actually read, you would have known the debate started because he claims that fighter multiclass is overrated and implies the barb build is superior. It's all in his 1st freaking post. Ensuing comments on the thread argue why he is wrong not why he should not play something different.

I'm surprised the build came before his cries of "this is too powerful it needs to be nerfed!" with regard to ameliorating strike. It's kind of his MO, and why people jump all over his shit.

I'm with you on this.  Any test you run is going to be situational.  Single Mob vs. Group.  Trash vs. Boss.  Fort level.  With sneaks or with Aggro.  Yada yada.  And that doesn't even get into survivability since a soul stone does no DPS and, last time I checked, the mobs hit back. 

I just thought the current consensus was that TWF was stronger than THF for the most part and that Fighter splashes yielded the best DPS currently due to the new enhancement trees.
