The irony is they left you with stacks of 3, the minimum number needed to dupe in the first place. 

Normally I'd call that poetic justice but knowing this exploit will eventually resurface, it makes me laugh at Turbine.  Grin

So if someone isn't banned yet, they can make a mule character, get some favor, buy 159 medium bags, and fill them with 3 stacks of duped ingredients in random orders.

If they use a script to reduce stack sizes to 3, you're safe. If they go through it manually, you've wasted someone's day. Edit: ...in addition to your own.

Turbine has never hit hard for people who exploit.  Mostly just wrist slaps.

My advice, exploit as much as you want.

Heck, during the +3 tome exploit people were short time banned, then went back and did it all over again, banned a second time, and then did it again.

The biggest bunch of banning happened over the short cutting XP exploit.  Yet, most of those hard cores are back in the game.

I suspect that U20 will bring back the dupe bug, primarily because Turbine is that dumb.
