I can confirm the multiples of the same elemental augments stack just fine.

It wouldn't work for spellpower because it is the same type of boost and it doesn't stack. DMG effects always stack. If you had a pure good mace of pure good it would do 1d6+1d6 dmg + mace dmg. Look at shroud items for that example. Acid, acid burst, acid blast, so on and so on.

It's what i figured, but with Turbine I'm hesitant to assume anything works as intended these days.

I can't log into Lam for now to check, so could someone advise?
I've Googled but not found much detail.
How is the burden of guilt penalty being applied?
Let's say you have been very "naughty" and accidentally applied an over level item to a toon.  Will the burden of guilt debuff be automatically applied when you log in post U20?
Or is it purely to block over level items that are attempted to be applied post U20?

And Burden of Guilt?  Which Turdbine putz thought of this name?  Probably won the Employee-of-the-Month happy meal for that suggestion.
Who feels any guilt about doing this?  And it sure ain't a burden!
I'm sure a more appropriate moniker would be "We're too lazy/incompetent to fix this bug, so we'll introduce a half-arsed attempt to stop you bastards, even though we will inevitably fuck it up" debuff.
But then they couldn't pat themselves on the back for a job well done sticking it to the players again.

1) I've just checked, I copied my loaded character on L-Space.
2) At loading... with all the effects, well just after them, one time for each naughty item. ( it does not stack )
3) yes
4) no

5) Allegedly it's attributed to the monkey guilty of all the shitty things lately.
6) I feel none for the single character I have loaded with LVL 27 stuff at LVL 6.

Plume de Soleil is too retarded and ego-centric to consider that he is guilty of the exploit appearance through his 'new loot table'. So he just designed a system so that he won't have to fix the shitty code he made.

Thanks Flav for checking.

Bummer then.
That almost sounds like it could be a "fix".  A crap, lazy one, but a fix nonetheless.
Guess we'll wait till live to find out how bad they have cocked it up and what the workarounds are.
And they're fixing the twists in U20 too.
That's two major fixes in one update.

So everything published here that benefits players has been prioritized for a fix - how about working on the quality of life fixes Turbine?  Undecided

Looks like the only way to get shit fixed in DDO is to find an exploit and post it here.  Someone please find a way to attach exploits to the aspects of the game that desperately need fixing - might actually get done then.  Undecided

I just hope there's a way to make it apply to other people, like you walk into a tavern, cast Masters Touch on somebody then equip a level 27 item and *they* get chains of guilt. That would so rock. The fact that it applied to pets and hirelings gives me hope.

Turdbin, keep changing the DDO rules, because McDonalds sold over 200 billion hamburgers by changing the recipe for their Special Sauce every couple of months to keep interest up.

That is a funny, yet satisfying thought Meursault.
It would be nice to see the lazy fix backfire on them and be contagious or transferable.  We could have some fun with that!

We could seek out the forum paladins like that dickwad Uska, and continuously bestow it upon them until they stop kissing Turbine's arse.

I can just see it being implemented as unremovable and Turbine collectively shrugging their shoulders and going oh well.  We'll add it to the known issues list <snigger>.

LMAO! Exactly!

They gave some pretty hard wrist slaps over the paladin (class not attitude) greifing pale masters, but it would be totally worth it to see their alternative to actually fixing their broken crap backfire on them, and to razz the fanbois.
