I though almost all the bans were over by now anyway, except for the few that were extended to the 11th.

Right now the game is making more money than ever before per day

Bah, I've heard from at least a dozen people that that's not the case. My friend's sister's boyfriend says even the inflated logins on G-Land are over now. What you say is purely your opinion, and the only thing that will convince me otherwise is good hard data!

In fact, I'm so sure of my numbers, that if data is released proving October logins stayed above 10,000 per day for all major servers, I will publicly apologize to you.

That's a good 10% lower than the July "it's summer" numbers, which kept above 11,000 per day up to about the time the date and effects of the Enhancement Pass became widely known.

Turdbin, keep changing the DDO rules, because McDonalds sold over 200 billion hamburgers by changing the recipe for their Special Sauce every couple of months to keep interest up.

Btw, the Oracle numbers only run through the end of September and show no change in average logins since July.  Even the excesssively high Ghallanda logins are still there.

Not at all. I'm ASKING for data. And I'm doing it in an entertaining vault style. How else am I going to compete with exciting threads like "G"?

The halfling wasn't enough, I can't deliver on the virgins, so I offer ... DRAMA!

Also, G thread is phenom, we're still talking about it. But he needs moar character. We need to believe there's an actual person there. With an Identity, feelings, and a twisted abused soul.

Well, I'd love to spend more time in that thread, but there's still that pesky restraining order from the last time.

Oh wise and mighty DDOracle, please accept this halfling as a burnt offering, and grant us, your supplicants, knowledge of how our long suffering game fares through these troubled times of bans and exploits.

YOU'VE BEEN HEARD!

Know that your cries for knowledge are not in vain, and that indeed, the Oracle continues to watch all that is DDO and knows all that is DDO.  The Oracle is wise in such things.

Sadly, the Oracle was less wise in tasking an otherwise useless leftover Apple product with the job of crunching the vast data, and Apple quietly pushed an update that broke his graphing stack.  So the Oracle remains all knowing, but does not, uh, deign to share the knowledge of the universe at this time.

Still, the thoughtfulness and sincerity of your offerings of virgins and burnt halflings has touched what's left of the Oracle's cold, dead heart.  Your plea has been heard, and will be considered.

(There may also be some truth that the Oracle has recently been spending quality time with fleas.)

OldCoaly wrote on Nov 12th, 2013 at 8:56am:

Quote:
Nostradamus is said to have predicted his own death. When his assistant wished him goodnight on July 1, 1566, Nostradamus reputedly pronounced, "You will not find me alive at sunrise." He was found dead on July 2, 1566. Nostradamus was interred standing upright in the Church of the Cordeliers of Salon. However, his story does not end there; he was disinterred twice, once on purpose and once maliciously. In 1700, his body was moved by the city to a more prominent crypt. When a necklace was found on his skeleton bearing the date '1700', his body was hurriedly reinterred. During the French Revolution, in 1791, some drunken soldiers broke into his tomb. The mayor quickly placated the mob by describing how Nostradamus had predicted the revolution, and they replaced the bones in the crypt.

However, Nostradamus had the last laugh. In Century 9, Quatrain 7, he had written:

The man who opens the tomb when it is found
And who does not close it immediately,
                        Evil will come to him
That no one will be able to prove.

Reputedly, the soldiers who desecrated his tomb for the final time were ambushed on their way back to base and killed to the last man.

And I thought the oracle was at the top,  so disappointed.

I would agree even though I made the thread. It's just harder to give a shit about trolling in a forum full of trolls. I'm better at it elsewhere.

I mean, hell, H? Who didn't see that coming?
