Should be an interesting thread

Posting here so that someone from Turbine actually sees the thread.

https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/429959-DDOCast-ep-309-review-and-conce...

I thought it was an interesting post and an absolutely spot-on analysis of what's going on in DDO at the moment.

Unfortunately so very true... Even more aggravating was the fact that the very persons making these backhanded comments are the one supposed to relay community feedback!!!

It's actually pretty funny that those morons protesting on a bridge got more respect here than they did from Turbine's Community Relations team on this podcast.

Use the same one.  Close enough, especially by Turbine standards.

Wow. Feather is so out to lunch it's amazing.

Feather's mastered the art of doublespeak. If some other moron from turdbine posted that I would almost feel compelled to believe they really care...

I think feather is practicing his doublespeak for when he moves up into management. If he hasn't already.

I was going to say he should only be producing feces but:
1) we've seen the loot tables already
2) he'd probably add some unnecessary property to his turds, such as ferret fur

Of course they will wave away quiet protest, just like every other powerful organisation (they are powerful in this context) does. The only place you can hurt them is the bottom line. If you stop giving them money and say why, they are more likely to listen.

Of course that may kill the game but who the fuck cares at this point anyway?

To be fair, ddo died around u11-14. This zombie abortion gone wrong lives on.

Starting FR content at 16 and expanding into commoner levels was their downfall. If they just would have started FR at level 1+ and added FR pre's, races and classes.

sigh...

Agreed, that would've been a much better idea than all the shit they've had to bolt on to support that initial shit decision, like iconics. Everyone wanted new races and classes but as that was too much work, how about a paid-for hybrid nobody wanted and yet another new system to add to the plethora of unfinished old systems...
