Before you misunderstand the title, lemme tell you a conspiray theory. The voices in my head told me. They said.

Turbine simply wants to advertise CitW by that box. So while ppl do not read ddowiki often, (as u can experience it in some raids when newbies join ya) they found the ultimate method: Show them in game.

Far fetched? Truth? As commander Reiker said: Can you decide where lies the border between truth and pure fiction.

Now that makes no sense at all. If turdbine wanted to advertise CITW, they would just 'fix' the Tor Loading Screens everywhere to CITW screens.

Honestly : I don't care about that fucking box... If only it was giving me that much wanted SoS Shard.

But noooo, the fucking box gives out shitty items from a shitty raid called Pain in the Navel that was created only to rub Shade Ego so that he could Orgasm when he managed to get a full party in it.

That's probably another Bank of Kundarak Queen taking space into the character bank for most of my characters.

For some reason, I just got cozened into running one of those things. It's still terrible.

I am assuming it is a tactic to try and boost sales of Gianthold, because I would rather drink a pint of warm sick than run that raid regularly.

Pain in the Navel made my Do not Enter List.

It's a short list : Pain in the Navel and Demon Queen.

Both for different reason :

- Queen because of the stupid two parties flagging that need to reform mechanism.
   If they changed it à la VON5 or Twillight Forge ( ADQ prequest Raid with DQ Raid ) or got rid of the reflag from ADQ, I'd go in there anytime.

- Pain in the Navel ( aka CITW )
   Headless chicken run, The accumulation of retarded mechanisms ( respawns, mana drain,
   stupid hand, trap respawns, invisible walls, death by being thrown off islands .... ), Drop
   rates that are so low they are retarded, for items that are not even really worth it anyway.

I agree with you. Although I still run them just because I like to run raids.
CitW is all about running. Nothing else. Run for half an hour till the end and loot the end chests. The Lolth animation was fun to watch a couple of times but it's also boring now...

if they really thought that up it's actually pretty fucking smart

if you level to 23 and like the weapon, you might buy a planar focus of the AH/SH but oh you need to unlock the weapon and for that you need to buy content, and the droprate of coms in PitN ( <3 flav) is so shitty that you want Gianthold for FoT if you dont already own it

Sadly they nerfed the drop rate in FoT with 19.2... You don't see 2/3 coms each completion on EH anymore. ( Though it's still better than Pain in the Navel, where getting one com is quite good, and getting none is common. )

I'd much rather get the raider's reward box than an SoS shard because
1) I truly despise the raid that we can now skip because we're going to get the item that we actually want from it
and
2) VoN is still fun for me

Oh technically I agree, It's just that I need a SoS shard ( and even if I got one I'd still run Velah ) and I need nothing from Pain in the Navel loot Table.
