Ye olde bugge of free LR is backe at Turbine.  Used free LR to fix a problem and no tomes at level...skill and stat.
Figured that since more devs and mods come read these forums than the official forums, would just make my report here.  I had all +4 tomes and +5 wis and str on Saaluta as well as the 3 skill tomes from Shadowfail(+3 conc, +3 heal, and +2 spellcraft)(which is the only reason I got the upgrade).  Put in ticket while on bridge and the GM actually mailed me a +4 supreme tome and +5 wis as well as a new LR heart.  But, as I was not far enough along in the process to get the skill tomes, had to wait until I finished the LR to be able to check these, so I put in another ticket.  2nd ticket closed with note that they know nothing about this bug and can do nothing for me...

The good thing is that I can work around this minor problem, the bad thing is...I paid cash for these skill tomes and want them back before I TR again in a couple of days.

Saal Smiley

Maj please get on someones butt about customer service.  The first GM was +Krymux, 2nd was +Ogdred....

open new ticket, ask for senior GM?

I've had to do 3 or 4 in a row before to get my timer and LR reset after being locked out of Henshin on a couple builds after using my +20 heart.

I've never lost tomes.

This was the first time for me as well, especially after 8 TR's on her.  I will take your suggestion, but just wanted to let people know so they can be careful when using the free LR.

Haha, so it turns out that +Krymux is a 1st level GM(the one that helped me) and +Ogdred is a Senior GM...who sent me the 3 missing skill tomes thru in game mail after I opened ticket to speak to SR GM...

I've had good experiences with +Krymux in the past, as well.  If anyone can pass on an 'attaboy' to him for me, feel free.  Smiley

I'm at the point where I have more fun theory crafting builds than I do playing them.

It's nice playing ddo in excel.

So you want to know about an exploit?

Only thing I'd be interested in doing right now on DDO is epic/iconic TR and keep going down the completionist road.

But considering the system is currently stupid and fucked up I'm not even going to bother with it Sad

I got to that point in nearly every RPG.  must have rolled up hundreds of characters and NPCs who never say any real action.

Same here, but at least in Pathfinder or real D&D I can throw them in my 3 ring binder and they'll be usable for nearly a decade. I can pull one out, make up a name, and throw him at my players when they go in a direction I didn't expect.

In DDO it's an exercise in frustration because the rules I based the theory build on will be changed within a few months of my making it.

But that's one silver lining to the DDO meltdown, my gaming group is now in 2 parallel P&P campaigns with separate DMs, 1 Pathfinder and 1 D&D 3.5, so we can run every week instead of every other.

Turdbin, keep changing the DDO rules, because McDonalds sold over 200 billion hamburgers by changing the recipe for their Special Sauce every couple of months to keep interest up.

D&D 3.5 was the BEST for this kind of thing, especially with all the multiclass options! I wasted MANY hours posting in or reading the Character Optimization board in the Wizards of the Coast D&D Forums.  Embarrassed

Grin Grin Grin Grin

I've started instance checking before I commit to a graph.

A half-dozen boss Vaulties donated generously with real money to my classroom during a fundraiser in May 2015 to get poor kids books to read. I won't forget that. They know who they are, and they freaking rule.
