So I can stop replying to PM's, and because I hate all the guys here who taunt that they have a working exploit but don't share it... Enjoy, and yes this DOES work. Done it for multiple accounts already...
Yes, offline still works. Done it for me and 2 friends already and still have the otto stone. Does NOT work on box itself though, just stone. And... best to test with a crappy silver exp roll stone first though, as the trick only works SOME times. Other times, it eats your stone, even though it was done exact same way. So, I test with silver roll like 3 times to make sure it's working, then use otto stone.
1) Open inventory and shared bank. Have exp stone in inventory.
2) disconnect from internet
3) pass stone to shared bank
4) use stone
5) reconnect
Cross fingers and hope bug works. Best of luck and enjoy, and definitely make sure bug works before eating an otto
Thanks goes to that guy who originally uploaded this exploit. I just went and tried it with otto to see if it still worked
Didn't come up with original exploit though.
So I was curious on the "Sometimes" part of this. Did some testing with Silver roll stones, and made about 22 successes before stone was used. Trying to understand the IP mechanics of this.
My guess is putting the Stone into the shared bank takes about 1 seconds. The "Yes" on using a Silver Roll XP Stone takes about 100ms. So the "Yes" beats out putting the stone into the bank. This is using the disconnect method.
I'm just trying to find out how to make this 100%, since there must be some logic/engineering behind this.
How do others disconnect the Internet? Disable/Enable wireless/Network from computer, cable pull or other? I found opening a Raider Box while disconnected interrupts the sequence of events enough when reconnecting that the stone makes it to the shared bank. But again, most i got is 22.
If the "Some" could be "Always", then a Gold Roll Stone of 5k or higher would take 760 runs for a 3rd lifer. This could be easily automated using a macro.
