So what's the difference? Why the double standard?

People bitching about using twists and high level gear to quickly level, zerg through quests, ect.  "It's not how the game is meant to be played." "Why cheat, the game is easy enough as it is?"  They whine about running through a quest in God mode and how that's not playing or enjoying the game.

What about using an Otto's Box then?  Give me a break, drinking a 50% pot, getting your ship's 5%, the Master's Gift 5%, and cracking a box open isn't exactly playing the game either.

So tell me how using some gear and fate points is so damned different from the Turbine Approved method of bypassing quests and quickly leveling?

I think you are asking the wrong forum.

If you are asking for justification of actions you may or may not have committed, you have done wrong in your own eyes. Truly, those are the only eyes that should matter.

The difference is something only a Lawful pallie might truly atest to!

My best guess, is paying the money extends the life of the game sinking more money into the titanic...

versus 'cheating' with twists (which someone people still can't figure out, I'd like to add) is not  how it's 'suppppppost' to be....
As for the gear... well once again.. it's not suppppost to work like that there fore, you're cheating and doing something (most likely I don't know how to do) and besides.. they think this game is a challenge... They dont realize that by doing this little tricks is what gives some vets the desire to TR... it's fun being so 'overpowered' in a quest that I've already done 100 times and am only doing for favor/xp...

They should just make twists in heroic WAI.

But then add:

Mordenkainen's Fabulous Faceroller!

Allows you to use a full destiny in heroic levels.

I think that sums up the entire thing quite nicely.  Takes some of the monotony out of the grind for me.

Very well said.

It's kinda like real life that way. Are you against realism in a game?

The Japanese are, bar none, the most accomplished racists in Asia.

The level of derailment into something better than what the original thread was about. On this forum is over 9000, easily.

Well, to be fair, the Chinese and Japanese can't be out-racisted (pardon my French) either. It's kinda like an art form. Hundreds of years of practice and refinement. Used casualy; barbing or openly insulting. Something to be admired.

You do have to appreciate that whole 'middle kingdom' we are the center of the world philosophy the Chinese have been giving off for nearly 4000 years.
