What I really love is how he proved the old records to be true, those ancient archers and warriors really knew their stuff.

Yeah like the welsh longbow or the mongol bow. Though the grip holding the arrows out of the quiver would speed up the shooting but it would be much longer and harder to draw and aim the heavier bow.

He has manyshot but no bow strength.


ug 20lbs? I knew it was a light bow but not that light i was thinking 40lbs.

Impressive! It's great when people take conventional methods and think outside the box. (like exploits!) Although in this case, he just paid attention to the "old" teachings and paintings.

He does need to work on his landings though.

Not everything is about the longbow or the composite bow.
In history there were lots of different bows for different purposes. This bow covers certain aspekts that are imposible with a longbow.

Impossible (me thinks). Actually the rapid shot is only effective with the short bow (IMHO). I have used both (at a very amateur level, of course) . Even with a modern composite bow with wheels would be not possible at full draw. The technik he is using is to move his left arm (the bow holding arm) away from the body. He really doesnt pull very much his right arm. I guess even if you are strong enought, the extra pulling would take you too much time, so you would shoot at half the speed.
