I know WruntJr has been playing it extensively & Viisari since it went live in Oct?.

There are Pro's & Con's as with anything.

Con's: Desynch.

Pro's:  Totally F2P, no P2W for the most part including the shop.

Sorry can't be of much more help, busy studying for exams. Good luck though! Tongue! Smiley! Cheesy!

My wife competes in the racing seasons. She loves the game. Her big complaint, as Tractors mentioned, are all the disconnects/de-synchs.

Remember, the game is hosted by servers in New Zealand.

Been playing it since February.  Loving it.

It's a really good combination of Diablo II with the sphere grid from Final Fantasy X. Imo, it's a better game than Diablo III thanks to build diversity. You're locked into character choices, (for the most part you can un spend a couple of points as quest rewards)

Ingame currency is all revolved around Alchemy.  You'll soon notice that sometimes your best bet with items is to get a normal item with a good socket layout.  You'll then want to upgrade that item to magical or rare, maybe reroll the stats on it a few times till you get what you want. Maybe change the color of the sockets etc.
There's no gold etc. The currency revolves around selling all the alchemical components you need to reroll/upgrade (or identify) items.

There's no p2w yet, you can only spend money on cosmetics and storage. (the free storage is sufficient so far, I've got 4 characters now.)

I'm totally ok with this Cheesy

If you like the genre, this game is definitely worth a play through.  If you don't, there's nothing special about this game that will draw you in. PoE is just a well rounded, increasingly polished Hack n Slash game.

So you want to know about an exploit?
PM Epoch For Details. Or, in case you don't already know, OnePercenter controls the Exploits Board. Lastly, if you're truly desperate, Vendui Tells Everyone

Definitely a good game.

The learning curve is steep, and I recommend you follow an established build because respeccing is expensive.

I played too much D2 to have any interest in D2.X.

I played through it once, I'll probably give it another shot in a few months.  As was said, if you liked Diablo 2, you'll like it.

The replayability just wasn't there for me, though.
