I seriously don't understand why anyone in DDO would want anything nerfed. It's not a damn PvP game. Who gives a shit if someone in your party is kicking ass.
It's like their little egos are bruised when they are not the top dps or kills or crate smashers in the quest. Children.
I think the problem is more like being the
only crate smashers in their quests.
If you are an obnoxious f-tard, nobody wants to group with you. If you make the game harder for other people, they have to PUG to get through it, so you have a chance to catch a few of them in your PUG and have somebody to listen to you tell them how uber you are.
How do you make it harder for others? Nerf their build!
Another way is to whine about Dungeon Scaling. "Ohhhhh, it's to Eeeeeeasyyyy for them, wahhhh. Make them need me, wahhhhh". Because if you are fun to group with, people worth grouping with will group with you regardless of difficulty.
And the perennial favorite, complain that they are exploiting (twists, anyone?)
But the truth is, it's easier to whine to the devs to make it harder for others than it is to admit that what's really needed is to treat people better.
