It wasnt the members of DRB that were the issue, it was the leader. He eventually did a mass purging of the guild kicking several members because he didnt like them for whatever reason, several more of them left due to that and formed a new guild that I joined, but I cant remember the name of now.

The members were fine, the leader wasnt. But I hold that incident against them as do many of the other players that were kicked.

I am even more baffled now, and it might be a date thing, but if you are talking about Illy here in his many guises, he was always extremely chilled out with me when I played with him. It might be a chick thing, but it didn't appear to be - guild raids I gatecrashed appeared to be relaxed and fun rather than serious business.

It happened several years ago now. I stopped playing for a while logged back in, and two people that used to be in the guild but were kicked told me about it. I was kicked for inactivity, but due to a lot of attitude that the leader had shown towards me in the past, I didnt rejoin them when he asked if I wanted to.

One thing he specifically told me was that I wasnt allowed to join pugs because I wasnt good enough at the game yet, and he didnt want the guilds reputation affected. If thats not elitist then I dont know what is.

He also threatened to kick me when I joined a guild group for Abbot flagging, but I only needed one quest. After the quest was done, I thanked them and left, in accordance to the guild rules which stated that guild members were free to leave groups after the quest they were doing was finished. But he got mad at me for not staying through the rest of the quests and actually told me to quit the guild and stuff.

Dunno, I'll try again when I get to level 20 this life. But I was only at level 20 when I tired, I TR as soon as I hit that though.

Maybe because that was in one of my previous lives and I didnt have as much experience at soloing on that class yet, I was just zerg levelling to 20 and TRing and not even trying any epic other than DA for tokens.
